Wanted to fish one river this morning that I was hoping would be 68-70 degrees but it was super muddy, so changed plan and went to different river that was a little clearer but warmer, between 70-74 degrees. This is a little warm for Striped Bass of the size I like, but plenty cold for Stripers under 10 lbs. Only caught one but had 3 pulls that I think were most likely Stripers. Fished about 2 hours until it started getting really hot and called it a morning. We were floating gizzard shad over the deeper holes and dropping a couple down near the bottom of the deeper areas. As you can see in the photo this river was a little stained too, but the other one was MUDDY, due to the storms we have been getting about every day.
