Planted in rows.

Plant between them for now. Next spring get the forestry to come in and harrow it all and their harrow with split those stumps to increase the rot rate

That's what I call all purpose plows. Springs are to weak to grab stumps. They will just spring and plow point will slide right over them. They will work good if your just wanting to plant around the stumps.

Yes I will plant around the stumps until they rot and will turn under. I have always called them spring plows but have recently been told to improve my search to use chisel plow to get more results. All purpose plow is a better description for sure, I will search under that name - Thanks!
