The Unified Government of Athens Clarke County is searching for a Systems Analyst II to support GIS and Computer-Aided Dispatch activities in its Police Department and E-911 Center. The successful candidate will plan, design and develop efficient systems and work processes in support of public safety activities county-wide. This is a highly technical position that requires a high level of skill in managing, creating, editing and updating GIS data and web-based map services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, GIS, mathematics, or a related field along with 3 or more years of experience in a multi-user environment. The incumbent for this position must also have a valid driver’s license and pass a criminal background check indicating eligibility for access to sensitive public safety information.
