Alright boys, (and gals), I'm going down on the 19th of March to tear up some ground.. :D ...I need suggestions on what to plant to help me make my mind up.We aint spending the lottery on it but we aint cheap either...Most of the soil is clay.. PH sould be in decent shape, as there is already existing plots that get limed every spring..I need something that can take the heat and is drought tolerant..I've read other post, but this one pertains to me, so Tell Me.. What should I plant...It's gettin Nitty Gritty time.. :D

P.S...talkin deer plots here....

mid-march is going to be a little early for spring/summer plots unless you are in south Georgia. What county will you be planting in and what's usually the last frost date?
