The Oracle
I was able to look at the back of my head in the mirror and see the beginnings of a ducktail on the back of my neck.

My hair is thinning because of all
the IV meds I've had to take after
all my surgery.

Hope it comes back but I'm alive
after all that mess thanks to God
and a bunch of folks praying for me.

Having the top thoracic surgeon in
the southeast probably didn't hurt either.

I used to joke with my bald friends
when they complained about going bald.

I'd say "I'll be glad when mine falls out.
That would save me 14$$ every 2 weeks".

Be careful what you wish for.

Beautiful dog and love your kitchen cabinets,,,,

Thanks!

I was about 4-5 yrs old when they were installed by my Grandparents here. I'm thinking 1960, barely remember it.

Yes sir, I was just joking around. I've got good thick hair actually.

Was glad to hear you got through all that and made a come back.

Hope you are doing fine/better still.

Poor Ric. But :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Oh it's funny, no doubt! :bounce:

He's starting to navigate a little better.

He finally pooped and peed today with it on, yesterday he WOULD NOT do it for nothing. I had to take it off.

Yesterday he just ran around in big circles in the pasture.

Thanks, I like'em too, but they tend to make it a little dark.

All of the walls look like that also. Thinking about possibly sanding a couple of sections of the walls and white washing them just to brighten it somewhat, leave some as it is as accents. Of course, new updated lighting would help. Also, new counter tops, flooring and a back splash. Maybe one of those farm sinks.

Basically just update it somewhat, but keep it Old Farmhouse.

Love that hard wood pine paneling on the walls. Our old 5 points house had them. We are getting a house at Edisto this year with that paneling too.:rockon:

What was the price per gal you stated that you had seen gas for? I believe it was yesterday, or the day before.

If I'm not mistaken, that was supposedly expensive back in them days.

I'm questioning it though, PaPaw was tight. :bounce:
