Nobody ? I guess I will be the guinea pig.

I wanted to see that movie so bad.... unfortunately, it looks like it had limited showings. Closest theater showing it was a 45 minute drive.

Saw jumanji instead. Predictable but entertaining enough.

You are right. The only place I can find it is in Midtown and I ain’t going to Midtown. I don’t understand it . Our theater in McDonough is showing 16 screens of crap. A good movie like Hostiles has very limited showing. Oh well , I can wait until it comes out on Netflix and I will be a 100 bucks richer.

For some reason I was thinking about watching BONE TOMAHAWK after seeing HOSTILES.

Not really sure what to compare it to. Not a "shoot 'em up" style Western, more of an adventure.

I’ve watched Wind River twice now, it’s good.
FYI, I watched it on flights traveling for work.

Looking forward to seeing Hostiles.

Is jJeremiah Johnson considered a western?
Some discussions I looked at considered Hostiles in the vein of Jeremiah Johnson. Maybe more of a frontiersman in the wild west with Indians type movie than a typical western. Soldiers or old soldiers in the west but not in a war environment as well.

Other movies mentioned that one might like if they like Hostiles was;
The Outlaw Josey Wales
The Revenant
Man in the Wilderness
The Proposition
Dances With Wolves

I haven't seen it but it looks good.
