Had a buddy go to the vet yesterday.He said while there that police showed up.They were escorting a woman in a truck.She backed up to the door and in the back was a badly hurt dog.He said it had an aluminum arrow stuck down through the back just below the spine and sticking down in its guts.Now I have no problem with taking out wild or stray dogs,but he said this was a big yellow lab had collar on and was beatifull.This burns me up.It makes all hunters look bad.

Yes it makes us all look like hethens only looking to kill something. All we can hope is that it comes out that it was a couple of knuckleheaded kids instead of a hunter.

done by someone "hunting", IMO, it was ... NOT... done by a "HUNTER", at least not according to my definition of a hunter.

Was it hit with a practice tip or broadhead?
If it was a practice tip could have been a kid with know rasing that knows nothing of hunting and just trying to be like the Dukes of HAzzard and shoot a bow at anything "Just Practicing"..
