Tiger trout

You think that's a wild one, or a holdover from the ones they stocked a couple years ago? Looks like a pretty big body of water for specks and wild browns to be co-existing?

It was stocked in this stream last year. While it was somewhat thin towards the tail it sure was pretty after being in the Creek that long. The picture doesn't show the length well. It had to be between 18" and 20".

We caught a few in the tuck and eastfork dh couple years ago as well. They weren't that pretty though.

The few I've caught are seen caught seem to fight like a Brook trout. This one took a while to get in being so large.

They are a cross between brook and brown trout.

Pennsylvania and Utah stock a lot of them

No southern states stock them but private hatcheries raise them
