Trout time on the Hooch

On the way home from work today I saw the Hooch was low and clear so I threw the Kayak in the truck and headed to Riverside drive to launch under the 400 bridge. The trout were on fire. I never got more than 200 yds above or below the bridge and caught about 20 in a couple of hours. Nothing huge, just good healthy rainbows.

Also caught my first trout on my "new" D.A.M. Quick ultralight. I love fishing vintage ultralight reels. I think this one is 1960's manufacture and smooth as butter.

Way to take advantage of the low water...I haven't been able to catch it low enough to fish this year. Bet that was a blast!

Ha ha ,
I didn't call it a greenie because I assumed no one would know what I was talking about.
I was wrong, as usual
