Took my cousin (and long time fishing buddy) out Monday. Put in at Lazaretto Creek. It was cool most of the day and the water was crystal clear. I don't know that I have ever seen it so clear. Temp has dropped to 56-58 degrees in the creeks. We fished the incoming tide. Was a little slow, but they turned on long enough for us to get some table fare. We ended up with 6 nice keeper trout in about 5 hours of fishing. Only two shorts were caught and a few fish were missed. All fish were caught on artificials. Swing jigs and standard jig heads. Another nice day on the water.
