We should shun the world which lieth in the evil one.

1 John 5:18-20
We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him. 19We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one. 20And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

One thing I noticed is that Satan can't touch the one born of God. The "One" born of God protects him.

I've heard it said that Satan is the prince of this world.

One question among the others is, if the world lies with the Evil one, how do we keep from it? Do we not vote? Work? Eat in restaurants? Watch TV?
It's not like we have a Christian world and an Evil world in that we can totally separate ourselves from each other.

It also seems like if we ignore the evil world, it will just get bigger. If we aren't concerned with government or laws. If we just ignore society.

It's almost like the Christian world is tiny enclaves(Churches) in a giant old evil world with an evil ruler.
