We are backing the boat in now at west point. Never been before so it's all new. We are at highland. Any tips on bluegill?

I caught a bunch this time last year that were shallow eating May flies if u can find any , haven’t seen any yet but they were out this time last year , may get lucky and find some shell crackers bedding

Fish a red worm or a cricket on a small cork in the bushes along the shore.
Keep moving slowly along the bank and you will find them.

We ended up with 70 today. Nothing to brag about. Caught alot of spots on crickets. No beds in the 50 thousand creeks we looked. Had a good time and this lake is beautiful. Going to get back at it in the morning.
