I made a wood burning heater, had the idea in my head what size to make it. After I had it finish welding and had it sandblasted. I should of could of and would of, made it a little bigger. I made it 12"x 18" x24" long. I should of made it 18"x 18" x24". But it's done so be it.

Looks good from here. That'd run me out of my shop in short order, but be nice to have one from time to time.

Thanks Guys I made a fire in today not to cold here in Louisiana, but it was nice to sit on the swing and watch the fire and feel the heat.

I did line the bottom with fire bricks and a made a steel rack to hold the log. It works really well, and heats up very quickly. I have a baffle in side 2" from the top and 12" from the rear for a second burn.

Sweet Heater!!

That's quite typical for Louisiana Cajuns and CoonButts, them folks are quite industrious and always have been.

Great job tsharp!

That is a fine looking heater. It looks about the right size to me. There is no heat, like wood heat.
