Lumpkinhunter your right i bought a camo pump 12 ga from the store that i buy most of my new guns from I paid $195.00 new for it and it shoots as good and points as good or better than my $1800.00 berretta o/u 20 ga so expensive isnt always best now you can tell a lot of difference in the quality from one to the other sometimes less is more.

I've never heard that about doves....some of the more 'affluent' quail hunters tell me you shouldn't shoot more than a 20 gauge for quail, but I've never heard that about doves! My advice to Guy is shoot the 12, you'll cripple fewer birds.
