Not a big fan of abruzzi. Currently BFO rape brassica purple top turnips.

Wanting to fill in down a hill about 100 yards, ph 6.8 any suggestions

Thought about some clover !

You could seed some clover now and it should explode in the spring if you can keep the grass out of it.

Durana ?

Durana is a very good perennial clover but it wouldn’t hurt to throw in some crimson or other cheap clover too.

Would the soil temps be high enough right now for seed to germinate? Was thinking about planting some rye and oats?

Can't answer that one. Here in S Ga. seed would germinate.

I guess it depends on where you live, I just checked the weather station in Pine Mtn and the soil temp is 53, I believe oats and rye will germinate down to low-mid 40's.

Mixture of clover and winter wheat is my go to.

My favorite is a mix of red clover and purple top turnips. A plot planted in Dec a few years ago came on strong in the spring.
