What type of mushroom?

Saw these next to the house earlier. They are in a fairly open area with pines ans oak trees. Anybody know what kind?

Look like smooth chanterelles.

Wasnt sure how long they would be there. Just noticed them today. I guess cut them off at the base for future growth and leave the small ones?

Not the size as much as if they are dried out, soggy, or half-rotten.

I picked 3/4 of a pound and left more than i took with about half about the size of a golfball and the other half real small just poking through the leaves. You can see in the picture they are laid out sporatically.

Are these for certain chants?

The last picture is one of the smaller ones i left.
