They're declaring chapter 11 again is this a buy time? Are my retirement and medical at risk?

From what I have seen in the news, it don't look good. Down from a 52 week high of 49.00 to 8.00 and still class action lawsuits and a bankruptcy to face, not hard to figure out the answer to your "buy" question. Not sure how your medical is involved unless it is part of a pension.

My pension is a defined benefit pension, I think I'm ok there. Health care is a benefit a little shaky there. 401k is vested and out of company reach.

I bought a bunch at 11 dollars but I had 30 years to wait now not even tomorrow is for sure.

I went through a bankruptcy with employer. We got our 401K after about 2 years. Rolled over to a IRA. I wouldn't think a defined pension plan will be unscathed. If your 401K is large enough I would seek out a good financial advisor.
