After seeing all these posts about the Mississippi roast, and hearing how good y'all said they are, I figured I'd give it a try. Dadgum this thing was good. So super easy to fix too. This will be added to the regular rotation around my house for sure.
I like to put mine over rice so I prefer the gravy a little thicker. Towards the end of the cook I pull about a cup of the juice out and add some cornstarch, mix with the immersion blender, dump it back in the crockpot and stir. Delicious!
