Banks deer bank feeder

I have mine somewhere around 40” I believe. We have a few on our property & like them. Feed protein off season and corn during. Also, use the smaller 40lb ones for minerals. Works real good for it and keeping it off the ground. We put 6” PVC around the 4x4 post. Also, I put 1/2 a bag of cement when setting the post. Haven’t had any issues with them so far.

Found this guy on Craigslist and bought one 4 years ago. It is in my backyard and gets heavy traffic from the 20 or so deer that cycle through here daily. Still looks new. Funny side story. My laying hens free range every day. They learned to run to the feeder when they see deer approaching. They know corn will be spilled. Fun to watch hens walking among a bunch of deer as they all feed together.
