You know they're expensive when you do not see a price listing. According to the article linked below, they range in price from $300,000 to more than $800,000. Yes, you read that right. Kind of pricey, ain't they?

I had an opportunity to shoot a friends double rifle between a couple of his trips to Africa. After our shooting I asked him "aren't those as much as a new pickup" he said "oh no I only paid 25,000 for this rifle" I thought that was expensive.

Agree...my best buck this year was a nasty big ol buck weighing 282#. I took him with my plain Jane Winchester. Model 70 made in the year I was born...1957. That 270 did the trick.

Last October I was hunting antelope in Colorado and one of the other hunters in camp had a single shot Merkel K5 Jagd in 30-06. Just an absolute drop dead gorgeous rifle. Kudos for hunting with it!

I've seen hundred thousand dollar shotguns when hunting with some rich folks down in Thomasville years ago. I've shot krieghkoff and perazzi over unders, I'd never own one but I'll shoot yours!? I couldn't enjoy a gun like that, I feel bad for beating up my stoeger.
