Anyone been to allatoona wma this season

How’s it look there on squirrels? Any fox squirrels, looking to go this Thursday. Also any general area good to hunt?

In the past season it seemed to have a good population of gray squirrels, I haven't seen any fox squirrels.

I walked up Boston creek a bit last week and then behind the check station. I saw a hog waller with a track, but no squirrels. I see fox squirrels frequently close to the shorelines when I’m fishing.

Got this one 2 days ago. Didn’t see many saw maybe 4-6 fox squirrels and same amount of grays.

I live a stones throw from the area, drive by it daily. Hard to describe the amount pressure the area gets. I’ve counted over twenty cars in the short stretch between the bridges and the private property to the East.

Yeah its done me pretty well. It’s one of the 3 WMAs I hunt regularly. No private land to hunt so I know it pretty well.
