34 inches wide and 12 foot 4 inches long.Nice, how wide is it?
It wouldn't be too much of an issue with most of the newer SOT kayaks on the market. Or, you could try a small kid's kayak as a trailer, load the deer on that, and tow it all.I`d not only fish out of it, I`d hunt out of it too, and use it to get to some way out of the way places.
I`d just have to figure out how to haul a deer back on it with drowning myself.
Yep, I did pick up one of the seat riser kits. I chose the Lite Tackle because for my size, it was the best compromise between stability and paddling. Now I'm looking forward to customizing it to my preferences.Nice, when I go to visit a friend down in S. Georgia I fish out of one of his, great fishing kayak and it will handle some wave action, although it's not near as stable to stand on as my native. We got caught in a approaching thunderstorm out on tired creek reservoir one afternoon and the wind kicked up pretty good but it handled ir well, they also make a seat riser kit for them if you so desire, personally i like a raised seat.

I would have but I had a friend with me that needed to get back home. I'm not sure you can get down low enough to get in it and if you could I don't think you could get back up again! You should have swung by the house. We woulda fed you up good and I would tried to swipe that kayak.
That looks great Rooster, you will have a lot of fun in that, is my prediction. I fished out of a canoe for several years and it was sweet. Gliding along making vitually no noise, and quietly presenting your offering to the fish is pleasureable, and productive,Yep, I did pick up one of the seat riser kits. I ain't got much room to talk though so I've been practicing getting in and out and standing up in it while it's on the grass.Yep, that`s the only reason I don`t have one.

I havent hunted out of mine but it really is amazing how much wildlife you see just quietly floating down the river/swamp/lake. Cant count how many times Ive come around a corner to deer drinking out of the river etc.I`d not only fish out of it, I`d hunt out of it too, and use it to get to some way out of the way places.

Yep, one of the reasons I chose it was that it was made here in Georgia. Plus it's the perfect balance between stability and speed. I picked up the seat riser too and will add a paddle holder and a rod holder. Plenty of room for crates or anything I should want.Made in Carrolton Georgia with love! Check out the Facebook and Instagram pages to see what's up with them.
I have that same one in green with the seat riser. This is an amazing paddling yak I am sure you will enjoy. The seat lets you sit for hours without being crippled and standing isn't too hard with the riser. There are countless additions for it but a 5 pound weight and some anchor line may be all you need. A kayak cart for moving it around solo helps when you want to slip out by yourself and a deer will fit just fine in the back or towards the front.
