Yard sale find

Picked this wok up for $5 at a yard Saturday coming back from hunting. Made me a ring to set it on the burner . Now to clean it up , season it and cook something.

That`ll do some serious cooking. I`d also use it to render lard.

Probably need to break it in with some cats.

I've made woks from old disc harrow pans. Weld a 1" ring around the top edge to make it deeper, Tig weld a plug in the center hole, then add handles. Those things can be used to cook up just about anything.

Kind of like the South African skottel.

Yep. I think South Americans call them discadas too. If you want to see some good eating, just Google discada recipes.
