Haven't set down and talked to him in years, but used to see him a good bit when he first came to FSU and then later both on recruiting trips and Christian events. He was on fire for the Lord and when I watched his first game at FSU, I turned to my dad and said that we were going to have to get to games earlier to get good seats.
Hadn't heard that, but yep, that is terminal in most men and at his age, they won't do the radical stuff that sometimes prolongs life.

So sorry to hear this. Coach Bowden is everything all of us should aspire to be like.
