FWIW- Vanes of quartz from clear to white (like that) run side by side throughout my farm in ne Georgia.

What would be the time period on this point? I have one that is identical I found on dog river not long ago.

I believe about 7500 years ago to as much as 15000 years ago.
More around 10000 as a average.
Post a pic and let us see the Jewel ?. ?

We usually call those Palmer variants here in western NC. Real early Archaic, about 9,000 years old or so. Very nice point!
