That looks like a Marion or Newnan varient. Roughly 6,000 years old if that`s what it is, and it sure fits the shape. It does look like it has been used and resharpened down. Middle Archaic. Mostly found in Florida, occasionally in South Georgia. Where`d you find it?

Thanks for the info. I found it at my place in Heard county. We are real close to the Chattahoochee, so that might be why it’s this far north? Very cool it’s that old.

That`s gonna be close on the age, not matter the type. It`s an Archaic stemmed point. Nice find. Congratulations.
