Another Day At The Gun Store

Today was my day to work at the Gun Store. I can tell everyone, people are buying guns and ammo like there want be any more made. I have been in the gun business since 1973 and it has never been like this. What is going on? Last night my wife ask how much ammo do we need? As I have told other people, as much as I can afford to buy. The manufactures have not cut back, they are making as fast as they can, but it is not enough for the market. Today I sold guns and ammo to people living over 100 miles away because they said it was not available locally. That is a big statement. What is wrong with this picture? At this time I am watching a movie, 1776. Is this a sign? Are we preparing for another 1776, another revolution? I know some say yes, some are scared. Where is the government in all of this? To many it looks as the government is slowly coming apart. Our leaders are to busy finding fault with one another, they have lost sight of there purpose. The government is to protect the citizens and provide for their needs and welfare. This purpose is divided between the federal and state governments. Who can you trust in government? I don't know of anyone I trust. When citizens loose trust in there leaders, the citizens must change the leaders. I ask everyone to question every politician and force them to put their views and platforms in written where it can be understood and not forgotten or misconstrued. We must do what it takes to get our government back in control for if we don't there will be more guns and ammo sold. How much ammo did you buy today. Just in case something happens, I bought another 550 22's. All ways be prepared.

I have been buy a few hundred rounds each payday since the virus started. I have also been stocking up on my reloading supplies. Been hitting all the local stores and online shopping. I did get lucky and scored 2000 rounds of Remington 40 cal for 175 bucks. And I bite the bullet and got a case of Barns 168 grain 308 ammo. I hoarded toilet paper during Corona and I am hoarding ammo now.

I picked up some .300bo from a guy on the trader last evening, only a couple hundred rounds, but every little bit adds up, he was letting it go for normal pre panic prices, most people are trying to get twice what they paid for it .

Corona Virus had everyone nervous. Then you have the rioting and now calls to defund the police. Even some states have actually voted on it. It has everyone scared that we cannot rely on LEO anymore, we will have to protect ourselves.

This is a very good thing. Lots of folks didn't care much about gun laws changing when they didn't have one. Now with more folks owning guns, they are more likely to vote against someone that says they are going to take them away. No one wants the government to take anything from them. We just have to make sure they realize the demonrats will try to take them away.

I actually ordered the tool for removing wheel weights. A local salvage yard told me I could come and get the weights off the cars, but I him hawed around too long and it was closed down before I got around to it. Problem today is, most shop are using zinc weight instead of lead. Ain't worth a dang.

Zinc weights are riveted on to the clip and most tape weights will be marked. Also keep your pot around 700 and they'll float with the other trash

Tire and wheel companies are better at manufacturing so less weight are needed.

Not always, I have a ton of zinc that have no rivet. I think the EPA got involved, some states have already banned lead wheel weights ergo, many nationwide tires chains just standardized it me thinks.
