Thanks to Kmac and all of the judges who helped with the contest this year. I was surely blessed to have such a fine season, even more blessed to have shared it with someone who loves it as much as I do. I killed my first turkey in 2009. Up until this year I had killed 11 turkeys in 10 years. I had only tagged out once. This year I hunted 4 states and tagged out in 3... New Mexico, Kansas, and Georgia for a total of 7 birds. I know a lot of people don't give much credit to slams but I completed my royal slam and 2 grand slams this year. I doubt I'll ever top this season. Awesome memories! It's been fun participating in the challenge

Hunted hard but birds were either not vocal...gobble once or twice on roost and then nothing or not commit to my set up. Still had fun though.
