Tractor won’t bother the deer, I had two does watch me bush hog 2 weeks ago. Wasn’t more than a 100 yds away.

Only thing I’m hoping for is I have three nice shooter bucks on camera and they’re all coming from the property maybe I’ll get lucky and he’ll bump them my way before dark

The sun beamed down on a yellow jacket nest 5 yards from the base of my tree. I’ve been fascinated for 45 minutes looking at the hole with binoculars. World record buck could’ve walked by and I wouldn’t have known. Haha.

Same buck from last night just walked right past my blind.

Had a little spike I could have shot, had a big spike I could have shot, but I’m in Dooly. 4 does, never could get drawn back on them. Ah well, almost got my first bow kill.

Saw one doe.

Had a doe and a fawn feeding out in front me from 6 until 6:30. They walk back into the tree line then bolted. Heard a deep grunt inside the tree line. Pulled out my grunt call and did a couple of "hey dude you wanna fight" grunts. He was into it , and was coming but circled around me until he got my wind , it was dark by then.

I’m glad we didn’t go back to the same spot as yesterday. A durn poacher popped up on that cam a little after 6. Luckily I’ve got good neighbors that tracked him down for me. That would have been a mess or worse for my daughter to see.
