I'm in my tree seat on Paulding Forest. Only 1 other truck when I got here. He's parked on the other side of the road so I hope he's hunting that side, too.

Found my first trail camera on public land. Cell camera so I assume they know I'm here by now.

Windy and fog rolling in but radar doesn't indicate rain.

After a swing and a miss this morning, I’m back for the evening sit. I had to run home and pick up my hunting buddy for the evening. She won’t get out of bed to save her life in the mornings but she’ll devil the mess out of me wanting to know when I’m coming home to get her. Then she’s waiting on me in the driveway fully dressed. Anyways, what matters is she wants to go. When she wants to go hunting, we go hunting. Good luck everyone and be safe!

I wish my kids had more interest in hunting. At 18 and 24 I'm not holding my breath that'll change. Enjoy it.

Sitting on public in Cherokee. Old road bed on the edge of pines and hardwoods. Heavy used trails around with a good many green briars a little to my left. Hoping for anything. My uncle killed a good one from my stand at the family farm this morning. Got my motivation up to go after church today although not at the farm its too far.
@Toliver seems that your squirrel brigade is taking a sabbath rest today.

None here yet. White oak acorns all over the ground around me, too. I'm sure they'll be along directly. I've been hunting this spot on PF for 22 years now and when people ask about squirrel hunting I direct them here to hopefully thin the herd a bit.

And the second one just showed up while tying that. @kmckinnie if you're close to PF you can come do a Veteran's Day squirrel hunt.

I'll just edit this one. Another one directly behind me now. Some down on the creek bottom and on top of this hill. I'm surrounded. They all followed me home from B F Grant.

I've squirrel hunting PF a few times had really good luck. I even killed a big ole fox squirrel going toward the lake. Got a whole lot more meat of that one.

Believe me, I am. My 19 year old has little to no interest in hunting. He’d rather stay in his room and play video games when he’s not working on his college stuff. This one is definitely a daddy’s girl and I’m thankful for that every day.

Just got into box stand at River bottom. Had to replant this plot after flooding from Helene. Finally coming up which is surprising cause we have had no rain since. First sit on the Hooch this season.
