2nd doe.

Just got a pic of a hammer in front of my stand I hunted this morning.

I just got back to the truck. Been in a creek bottom on the Onf since 3, nothing, nothing, nothing, oh did I mention I saw nothing. No squirrels, no birds, no deer, and no big foots!

Bigger doe circled around through the woods and has blown at us about 15 times. The other one cautiously walked off. That’s probably a wrap for us this evening.

Saw a decent 8, scoped it but since already used one tag couple weeks ago I gonna wait on one the bigger ones to show up. Other cameras were sending doe pics till dark. He came in at 5:43, stayed till 5:54. Hope I don’t regret not pulling the trigger but too early to end my season yet when know there’s a couple better ones back there

Yes, but saw her with my eyes first.

Two small does showed up about 30 minutes before sunset. No meat coming home tonight but we had a good time.

I wish my kids had more interest in hunting. At 18 and 24 I'm not holding my breath that'll change. Enjoy it.

They might just come back around.

Believe me, I am. My 19 year old has little to no interest in hunting. He’d rather stay in his room and play video games when he’s not working on his college stuff. This one is definitely a daddy’s girl and I’m thankful for that every day.

Meeting my 34 yr old son on Friday morning for a hunt in Illinois. Been years since we’ve hunted together.

Since I’m such a bad hunter I’m just going to go vegetarian.View attachment 1340925
