Well it's been awhile since I hunted in this kinda cold. Last trail cam Pic I got at 12/18 this morning showed 9 degrees. I sat 6 hours yesterday and only seen one 6 point. He won't get a pass this morning as freezers need filling. Good luck to all from wilkes county

Too cold for me. Been running the fire place trying to assist the heat pump. House won’t heat above 60. Never seen ice on Oconee before

Dusting of snow in Pickens this morning! Where did that come from?

Up in Lowndes co. I broke out the real cold weather gear I use when I hunt in Alberta. So far, so good. I’ve seen a 5 point and 2 does. Gonna give it another hour or so then it’s off to finish the last of the Christmas chores. Will then round out the afternoon/ evening tending the fire.

Yall be safe, I'm not brave enough to hunt these temps and winds. Off for the next 10 days , I'll wait a day or two.
I will say this our cell cams have been blowing up from 5-6 PM since Thursday.
8-9 does or bucks in the pix's at a time.

Hit the mountains this morning. Saw the second biggest buck I have seen all season but he wouldn't give me what I needed. Fun hunt but that 2° ambient was a little brisk.
