Closed the deal Sunday….
That’s how hunting goes, a lot of luck being on stand when a good one comes by IMHO. This am was said morning…
sticking em with an arrow always good - he was “on me” coming from over my right shoulder before I knew it - so close he pinned to the tree - had to chance grabbing the bow when he looked off into the pasture for a second. Right hand shaking couldn’t clip on, lol. Told myself to get through the buck fever and breath - saw the opening where I planned to shoot him 10 steps ahead, my body took over and I drew on 2 steps - not chancing he made said opening - found him in my peep - felt right and let it fly, it almost knocked him off his feet!
didnt get a pass thru - but, knew he wasn’t toting that arrow far…he wobbled tried to run, stopped did a 360 and flipped over dead! They don’t travel far when you get lung! Blessed am
