2020 South Dakota Pheasant hunt has been completed

Was a good time. The birds were numerous, but wild as all get out. Just drive up to the field and they would all take off. Ended up with a little over 2/3rd of our limit of 60. Temps were mostly at or below 32. Even got to help on a four mile cattle drive Sunday morning, to help out the family who rents our farm land.

Great to get back and enjoy time with family and good friends.

Looks like a great trip.

The 'Rona hullabaloo interfered with me making a pilgrimage to SoDak in 2020.

I am already counting the days until the 3rd Saturday of October 2021.

Was that frozen fog on the trees? Went with a group last week and the fog froze to the trees. Was a great trip as yours I'm sure.

Hand county or Miller, SD. Yes that is fog or morning moisture frozen on the trees. But we always call it ***** frost.

Fantastic photos!
I certainly like to get into some birds but to me an ideal Pheasant hunt involves walking the majority of the day and if you’re real lucky picking up three roosters!
