Old ‘check-in’ hunts are now called ‘bonus deer hunts’. There don’t seem to be as many of these hunts as there were before - especially for primitive - not sure if the reduction is partly due to Covid or not.
Antler restrictions have been relaxed to 15 inch minimum outside diameter or 4 points or better, one inch or longer on one side for 1 of 2 antlered deer.
Does anyone know if the quota hunts for Sapelo and Ossabaw have reduced quotas again this year? The selection odds will require more points if they are.

I saw that - but last year the quotas were reduced to around 30 with no warning - which resulted in lower selection odds. I applied to the primitive Ossabaw hunt (2nd hunt) with one priority point and didn’t get selected.
