And well they should. Since '17 OSU has played only 4 non-con P5 schools during the regular season. In those games, all in the first two weeks of the season and I'm pretty sure all at home, mebbe not, (skeert of air travel mebbe), and in those games they are 2-2. Beating OrSt and TCU, two teams who at best pay lip service to defense, and losing to Ok and Ore.Fair enough. First games against a good opponents always have me nervous.
You probably felt the same way against #22 Oregon last year.Question? Do you truely believe Dame is better and thus will win?
Well you conveniently left off the previous year when they beat Oklahoma in their house convincingly. The next year Oklahoma had their best team in years and OSU was like last years team against Oregon. Context always tells alot. But like I said it's the first game of the season so as a fan I'm always nervous. Looking at this game logically ND is not even remotely close to OSU talent wise and if this was game 4 of the season I would have no issue taking OSU by 21. There's no.logical explanation anyone can give that thus game should be close? And well they should. Since '17 OSU has played only 4 non-con P5 schools during the regular season. Personally I give ND a 50-50 chance in this game.
Not exactly. Did I think OSU was more talented? Yes and that was true even after the game. But, I had hesitation as the QB for OSU had never thrown a pass in college not even in cleanup duty and the Oline was completly revamped from the previuos year. I knew the team was the youngest D1 team in the country as espin kept harping on that leading up to the game. So yes I had much reason to worry about that game. This year I really don't have any of those worries just more of 1st game of the season and how does the team play with the huge expectations. You probably felt the same way against #22 Oregon last year.
Sure there is. It's played by 18-20something yr old kids who may have other things on their minds than playing/winning a game. There's no.logical explanation anyone can give that thus game should be close
Like I said LOGICAL REASON. If that's how OSU loses because the players have other things on their mind for the first game of the season at night against ND then OSU has some big problems. I promise you that won't be an issue!Sure there is. It's played by 18-20something yr old kids who may have other things on their minds than playing/winning a game.
