Had another good one. Figured I would share a few pics.

Season got kicked off here in low country in late March and I was able to be a part of a few good hunts the first few weeks of the season.

I was also able to be on three great hunts in GA in three different counties spread across the state. For good measure, I also missed a GA gobbler on May 12th that came screaming to the gun. That one stung a little.

We then headed West for our annual trip. It was as good as it gets and I was even able to kill my best merriam that sported 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" spurs. He is currently sitting in a freezer at the taxidermist.

Then this past week we made one more run North where I was able to finish out the year with some great friends and my dad. Watching my dad connect first thing Friday morning was the highlight of my year

Until next year, God Bless the Wild Turkey!

Congrats on a great season!

I've become very fond of those yellow mountain flowers. Kinda like the white flowers on the dogwoods here in the south. I didn't get a chance to see any yellow in person this spring so I appreciate the visual reminders that keep me longing until next time.
