3/15 KC reef -Black Drum attack

Fished KC reef Saturday, good seas in morning but STRONG current. We were over fish on good structure but bite was real slow. picked up some about noon and then was on fire for the last 90 min before we had to head home. must have picked up 12 black drum and a red drum (red was released) in last 90 minutes.

Ended day with 14 Black Drum, 2 Sheepshead and some porgy and pinfish in cooler, and as always a ton of small sea bass (but the BSB bite was slower than usual )

Sunday the 22nd looking good might have to try again although wife and I feasted on some fillets and still have 2 bags left in freezer. and I took home the smallest share.
