357 Maximum Doe

I passed up several deer this season waiting on a decent buck, and finally ran out of patience when this 120 lb doe posed for a quartering away shot at 25 yards. She is the first deer taken with a 7 1/2" Ruger 357 Maximum and 180 gr Fury bullet. Complete penetration from behind shoulder through opposite shoulder bone with great bullet performance. She ran for maybe 5 seconds after the shot.

Excellent.
I, too, am a .357 maximum fan.
I own two single shots.
I’ve not connected with mine and now I’m on a big bore revolver kick.
But your post has me thinking that a late season doe with a .357 maximum might be a good thing.
