So my buddy Mike had his sister, Kathy, in town visiting from Iowa. She's always enjoyed the photos of our catches he posts on Facebook, but today was all about her and getting the firsthand experience. We pulled a set of boards and freelines with bluebacks. Some boards were weighted, others weren't, all 20-25 feet behind the boards, and all got action. The freeline getting the most action was with no weight this morning, about 75 feet back. Kathy started out the day with a nice channel cat. From there, it was all stripers. She caught all she hooked into, with weights on the stripes of 9 up to 13.5 lbs.

She's glad she paid for the year long out of state fishing license instead of the 3 day, as she now has all the more reason to visit Mike sooner than later!! :bounce:
