410 shot size

Recently got a 410 O/U shotgun that I want to use for squirrels. What would be a good size load to use. Was thinking a 3 inch shell in 4 or 6 shot with a modified to full choke.

I have used 6 shot and full choke. Kept all my shots under 20 yds.

I killed a pile with 4s and 6s back in my younger years with a full-choke single-shot.

I grew up using my grandpas 410. All we ever used was 7.5 shot and that old thing would knock them out of the tree top. killed a few rabbits with it as well. Great little gun!
