Good afternoon everyone. Left work 1.5 hrs early cause of short lunch yesterday and no lunch break today.

I need a "dry spell" myself or a "mist spell".

Was looking forward to the 50% rain chance today but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Collage feetball starts tomorrow.

I need to weed eat and clean dirt dober mud nests off of the porches and carport.

Hope it's been a great day for everyone!

Just noticed these Iris I dug up Tuesday.
Guess I need to find a place for them.
Mowing on hold.
I have noticed that my bearded irises have not flowered for two years after I transferred them from a pot to the ground. I read that if you don't leave the roots/bulbs exposed that they won't flower. Is this true?
Is this true for any bulb plant, with exception of four o clocks?

I've been go'n through stuff I forgot I had.
Sure wished we'd get some rain over here, my garden needs it. I hate using government water on my garden... facepalm:

Good question. Iris like to have the bulb right at the surface. I have never noticed them not blooming though. They are pretty tough!
The bulb only blooms once. Maybe you moved the mother bulb and missed the babies?
Maybe just the disturbance?
If you moved a bulb that has already flowered and reproduced it won't do anything.
