Those of you that were in the path of Helene, for the next year or two, go ahead and expect to lose some of your trees that look just fine now. They took so much stress to the entire tree, especially the root system, that many trees just can`t take it. Pine trees in particular.

Friend of mine just texted me with some trucks that just came in.
Haven't been inspected or priced yet but at least I got a heads up. Guess I'll be busy Monday
If he has a f250 super duty 4wd 6.7 diesel with a six speed transmission, let me know.

Just had a big tree fall this morning out in front of house. I need to walk out there and see if it’s a popular or sweet gum.

Wish I had access to a sawmill. I could get some mighty fine boards out of this tree

Several friends of ours were hit pretty hard from the storm. One's house in Augusta is inhabitable. The other in NC business got washed away. Sad times.

After a three hour nap I feel much better. I feel like I’ve been beat with a rubber hose. That’s better than feeling like you’ve been run over by 2 1/2 ton buffalo. Porching up with coffee and well water.
