Ok this is a new angle to me. Young mechanic came out and said the lug nuts were swelling, hard to get in the socket. I took a nut and socket out of his hand and slid the nut in the socket. Don’t think so sport!

Should've told him to buy a good made in America socket instead of Chinese junk. :bounce:

They will swell if your brakes are hot from use.

All joking aside on the lugnut swelling, I have come back from somewhere and thought I had felt/heard something in my wheel or somewhere and stuck a lugnut on my impact wrench to check for tightness and my socket seemed a tad snug going onto the lugnut. I could feel the difference in the tires, wheels, and lugnuts from the friction of riding and in comparison to the cooler socket I was placing on my lugnuts they were a tad snug initially. Let those tires and wheels/lugnuts cool off a little and the socket feels normal.
