Been working on this and finally got it back on the ground. . Changing bed out next, painting frame and rear end with new brakes on back.

Man I like that, old trucks are my favorites. I know what you mean about a long way to go with it, I did the same with my old Chevy, just a little bit at the time over several years. Good luck with the old Ford..

Nice ford. When I was a kid dad had a 74 f250 4wd red with a white roof .

Thanks should be working on it but been a long day. Remember probably in 1979 I was working construction while on summer brake and our Forman bought a new 79 4wd that was red and brought it to the job. Never forgot that and probably why I bought it.

Love the trucks of that era. My dad had 78 but 2wd. The man wouldn’t have a 4wd, always said they drank too much gas, stayed tore up and somebody’s always in the ditch wanting you to pull em out.

Well truck had a dead short and melted wires so ordered Centech wiring harness and been struggling on it for while, almost there. Truck will turn over but won’t run. Only thing I haven’t changed is ignition module and coil, so that’s next.

One year later and new wiring harness,brakes and brake lines, gas tank and lines, bed and tailgate, new steering wheel. So going to order new retro radio and dash pad and need to get front end aligned
