I got skunked(figure of speech) a few days here and there, but here are a few that I caught this week.
Another pretty cat!
And this morning I had another nice black coyote!

Good job , I got 8 traps set yesterday and only had a Coon this morning , got to start somewhere I guess, he was about as big as a coyote

That makes the third black one this year for me. It seems they are not as uncommon here as they are other places.

That's not bad. First night coyote catches are few and far between it seems for me. It is possible but it seems to take a few days most of the time. Just be patient. They will come through and want to step in your trap!

Hard to believe but at the competition Sat. morning a father and daughter trapping on different tracts both brought in black coyotes! One of 'em was the "Bartram's Wolf" critter with the white patch on its chest.

All 3 of the black ones I caught have had white patches on their chest.

Much rabbit night activity(breeding season-Fannin) so maybe now is great time to set traps-I'm not a trapper(yet).
