A first for me

I don't consider our farm to be in snake country , but this morning I had two timber rattlers come from under the bush hog and this afternoon a large copperhead somehow got his head between a tractor tire and something hard. The rattlers were only 12 feet apart . The copperhead in another field. I go years without seeing either kind.I put the copperhead in the freezer.

Thunder Head

Gone but not forgotten
I would think it odd for the timbers to be that close. I think its birthing season for them. Not mating season.
