A perennial seeding plant to attract birds and whatever else

About 1/4 acre, doesn’t get all day sun. Slopes slightly, sandy soil. Clover maybe? Isn’t it perennial? As you can tell I don’t know much about this.

Thanks.

Do you want it just to feed birds and critters for just part of a year? White clovers are typically perennials

If birds are your thing then I would plant sunflowers and grain sorghum.

Neither are a perennial but both will be much better at attracting birds.
