A stroll thru Buck Shoals....(Pic Heavy!)

Went to do a little scouting this morning for some potential spots to target Shoal Bass. Water on the Hooch was running pretty swift and a little high.
No shoalies caught. Didn’t try too hard though and really not familiar with how to target them yet.
Great morning out in the woods nonetheless.
I have no idea what any of the flowers are, but i thought they were too nice not to capture and share!
Any responses from the pros to share your wealth of knowledge would be great.
Hope you enjoy!

Hard to tell, but a family of Geese headed to the lake! The goslings were not cooperating with their swimming lesson when they got to the bank.

Some kind of duck I presume. Hard to see in the pic, but were primarily black and white in color with some brown females.

Pretty pictures!!
What I recognize from bottom going up
flame azalea
fire pink
Above the pink azalea is crossvine
Above the crossvine don't recognize but the next big picture up is sweetshrub
The little pink ones near the top are a phlox
If NCHB is looking he'll be along to round out the list and make any necessary corrections to my IDs.
Thanks for sharing!
As far as targeting the shoal bass. Fish right in the swift water. If you're a flyfisherman I'd start with a black wooly bugger. If they're there they'll hit it. Any minnow imatation would work as well. A nd of course poppers. Chunkin' hardware again any minnow imatation and poppers. I believe I'd wait till the water goes down and clears up some. Good luck and keep us posted!
