“Friends - If a sermon or song lyric suggests there’s more of God, closeness to God, or favor from God than you already & always have by grace in Jesus Christ, it is Old Covenant thinking at best, and completely bankrupt theology for those who are made alive in Christ under the New Covenant.
Living by grace means believing by faith you have nothing to earn and nothing to gain, nothing to lose and nothing to prove in Jesus Christ. You have it all in Him by grace.”
